Description

Indulge in these irresistibly fudgy brownies, where intense chocolate flavor meets a delightfully soft, almost molten center. Each bite delivers a satisfying richness that belies their lighter composition, making them a perfect treat for those mindful of their carbohydrate intake. Imagine sinking your teeth into a square of pure chocolate bliss, where the edges offer a slight chewiness that gives way to a supremely moist and tender interior.

These brownies are quick to prepare, offering a warm and comforting dessert in under half an hour, ideal for those moments when a sweet craving strikes. Crafted without traditional wheat flour, these brownies utilize the delicate texture of almond flour, rendering them naturally gluten-free. The secret to their signature fudgy consistency lies in the generous use of melted butter, which not only enhances the overall flavor but also contributes to their unparalleled moisture.

A careful balance of ingredients is key; measuring the almond flour precisely ensures the perfect texture—too much, and they might resemble cake; too little, and they may lack the structure to hold their shape. Unleash your creativity and personalize these brownies with your favorite additions. Consider incorporating crunchy pecans, earthy walnuts, or fragrant hazelnuts for added texture and nutty undertones.

Alternatively, sprinkle in some shredded coconut to infuse a subtle tropical note or fold in cacao nibs for bursts of intense chocolate. For a touch of contrasting sweetness, experiment with sugar-free white chocolate chips, or add the bright tartness of fresh raspberries. These brownies maintain their wonderful flavor and texture when stored properly.

Keep them at room temperature for up to three days, or extend their shelf life by refrigerating them for up to a week. For longer storage, individually wrap each brownie and store them in an airtight container in the freezer for up to six months, ensuring you always have a decadent treat on hand whenever the craving arises. Whether enjoyed warm from the oven or chilled straight from the refrigerator, these brownies are a delightful indulgence that won't disappoint.

Instructions

    1.
Preheat your oven to 350 F / 180 C. Grease an 8 inch / 20 cm square pan and line it with parchment paper. In a large bowl, whisk together the almond flour, granulated sweetener, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
    2.
Add the butter to a pan over low heat and let it melt. Take the pan off the heat and let the butter cool slightly. Add the melted butter to a bowl with the eggs and vanilla extract and whisk.
    3.
Pour the wet ingredients over the dry ingredients and fold using a spatula until just combined. Roughly chop the dark chocolate. Fold half of it into the batter.
    4.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle the rest of the chopped chocolate on top. Transfer the pan to the oven.
    5.
Bake for 20 minutes, or until the center doesn’t jiggle when you shake the pan. If you insert a toothpick, it should come out with batter stuck to it. If it comes out dry, then you have overbaked the brownies.
    6.
Let the brownies cool completely in the pan for at least an hour. Take the brownies out of the pan with the help of the parchment paper, and cut it into 9 squares. Sprinkle with some salt flakes (optional). Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.
