Description

Imagine succulent shrimp, lightly seasoned to enhance its natural sweetness, embraced by a vibrant, Asian-inspired chili sauce. This isn't just a dish; it's an experience, a dance of flavors and textures that will awaken your palate. The shrimp, cooked to tender perfection, offers a delightful contrast to the rich and complex sauce.

The sauce itself is a masterpiece, a harmonious blend of sweet and spicy notes that tantalize the taste buds. Its glossy sheen clings lovingly to each shrimp, promising an explosion of flavor with every bite. The subtle heat of chili peppers is perfectly balanced by a gentle sweetness, creating a symphony of sensations that will leave you craving more.

To complete this culinary journey, the shrimp and chili sauce are artfully arranged atop a bed of cauliflower rice, stir-fried with the savory depth of soy sauce. Its subtle earthiness complements the other flavors, creating a well-rounded and satisfying meal.

This dish is not only incredibly delicious but also surprisingly versatile. It's perfect as a light lunch, a satisfying dinner, or even an impressive appetizer for a gathering of friends. Whether you're a seasoned cook or a novice in the kitchen, this recipe is sure to become a new favorite. Its simple yet elegant flavors are universally appealing, and the combination of textures is simply irresistible. Instructions

    1.
Combine the powdered gelatin with the first amount of water in a small dish without stirring. Let the gelatin bloom for a couple of minutes while you prepare the next steps.
    2.
In a small pot over low heat, combine the second amount of water with the vinegar and stevia. Keep the pot under a simmer, whisking until the stevia has dissolved completely.
    3.
Remove 1 tablespoon of the hot liquid and stir it into the bloomed gelatin until the gelatin dissolves. Return the gelatin water to the pot of liquid. Whisk in the chili sauce as well. Whisk over low heat for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce begins to thicken.
    4.
Pour the sauce into a container and allow it to cool and thicken until it's needed later in the recipe.
    5.
Peel and devein raw shrimp and toss in a mixing bowl with the olive oil, lemon pepper, black pepper, and onion powder until the shrimp are fully coated.
    6.
Place the shrimp in a wide pan over medium heat and cook for just 2 minutes per side, until the outsides are pink.
    7.
Turn the heat down low and pour in the chili sauce you made. Toss and coat the shrimp in the sauce as the sauce reduces and sticks to the shrimp.
    8.
Set the chili shrimp aside to cool. In another pan combine the cauliflower, garlic, and butter over high heat. Stir the rice as it becomes coated in butter and cooks to a golden color - about 5 minutes.
    9.
Pour in the soy sauce and cook more until the rice turns a sticky, darker brown. Serve right away with 4 pieces of shrimp per serving.
