Description

Imagine a dish that captures the essence of both a hearty cheeseburger and the playful spirit of nachos – this cheeseburger bowl is precisely that culinary adventure. Designed with thoughtful eating in mind, it offers a satisfying experience full of textures, flavors, and vibrant colors, making it a delightful and interesting meal option. The foundation of this bowl is a crispy cheese shell, baked until it achieves a delightful golden-brown hue and a sturdy, taco-shell-like shape.

This edible bowl provides a satisfying crunch and a rich, cheesy flavor that sets the stage for what's to come. Nestled inside this crispy shell is a juicy, generously seasoned burger patty. Infused with aromatic taco spices, each bite offers a savory and slightly spicy kick, reminiscent of your favorite taco fillings.

The patty is cooked to perfection, ensuring a tender and flavorful experience. To complete this masterpiece, a medley of fresh toppings is added. A dollop of cool sour cream provides a creamy contrast to the savory burger and cheese shell, while a vibrant, restaurant-style salsa adds a burst of tangy sweetness and a touch of heat.

Shredded lettuce adds a refreshing crunch and a pop of color, balancing the richness of the other ingredients. Finally, the entire bowl is drizzled with a decadent, velvety cheese sauce. This luscious sauce envelops all the ingredients, binding them together in a symphony of flavors and adding an extra layer of cheesy goodness.

This cheeseburger bowl is not just a meal; it's an experience. It's a celebration of flavors and textures, designed to satisfy your cravings and leave you feeling content and nourished. Feel free to get creative and customize it to your liking.

Add some sliced avocado for extra healthy fats and creaminess. Or, sprinkle some crispy bacon bits for that smoky flavor and delightful crunch.

Instructions

    1.
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork rinds, mayonnaise, salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, and paprika. Mix well with your hands and form into a large, 1-inch thick burger patty. Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan over high heat. Place the burger patty in the hot oil, cover with a lid, and cook thoroughly.
    2.
Cook the burger patty on both sides until well-charred and cooked to your desired doneness (medium is recommended, about 8 minutes or more). Set aside to rest. In a small pot, melt butter over low heat. Stir in heavy cream until the fats just begin to bubble. Add cheddar cheese and chili powder, stirring until melted and smooth to create the nacho cheese sauce.
    3.
Keep the cooked burger patty and nacho cheese sauce warm on your stovetop. Prepare the remaining ingredients nearby. Select a clean, 10-inch non-stick pan and spread shredded cheddar cheese in a single, circular layer to cover the bottom. Heat over high heat until the cheese melts. Place the burger patty in the center of the melted cheese. Quickly top the burger with sour cream, salsa, nacho cheese sauce, and shredded lettuce.
    4.
Continue heating the cheddar cheese in the pan until it bubbles, releases excess fat, and hardens into a crispy, dark-orange tortilla. Use a spatula to lift the hardened edges of the cheese circle and wrap them upwards towards the center of the burger, forming a bowl shape. Remove the pan from the heat and use the spatula to shape the cheese around the burger as it hardens. Once fully hardened and cooled, cut into the hot burger bowl and enjoy.
