    In one bowl, whisk an egg. In a second bowl, sift together the parmesan, flour, salt, and pepper.

    Line a sheet tray with wax paper. One at a time, dip each cheese stick into the egg, then into the flour mixture, and place it on the prepared sheet tray.

    Once all the cheese sticks are breaded, freeze them for a minimum of six hours.

    Heat approximately 2 cups of vegetable oil in a large skillet. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the frozen cheese sticks. Fry for 30-60 seconds per side, then transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Serve immediately and enjoy!
