Description

Imagine sinking your teeth into a perfectly seared steak, its surface boasting a delightful char that gives way to a tender, juicy interior. This is no ordinary steak; it's been generously infused with a vibrant masala spice blend, creating a symphony of warm, aromatic flavors that dance across your palate. The spices penetrate deep into the meat, ensuring every bite is an explosion of savory goodness.

The broiling process achieves a beautiful contrast in textures, with the crisp exterior giving way to the succulent, melt-in-your-mouth center. Complementing this flavorful steak is a bed of delicately browned cauliflower rice. This isn't your average bland cauliflower rice; it's been transformed into a zesty and refreshing side dish.

The cauliflower is lightly sautéed until it achieves a subtle nutty flavor and a pleasingly tender texture. A generous squeeze of fresh lime juice awakens the senses, providing a bright, citrusy counterpoint to the richness of the steak. Freshly chopped cilantro adds an herbaceous note, its vibrant green color and distinctive aroma enhancing the overall appeal of the dish.

The combination of the intensely flavored masala steak and the light, zesty cauliflower rice creates a balanced and satisfying meal. The richness of the steak is perfectly offset by the brightness of the lime and cilantro, while the contrasting textures of the crisp steak and tender cauliflower rice add to the overall dining experience. This dish is not only delicious but also visually appealing, with the dark, charred steak contrasting beautifully with the vibrant green and white of the cauliflower rice.

For an extra layer of indulgence, consider adding slices of creamy avocado. The avocado's smooth texture and mild flavor will complement both the steak and the cauliflower rice, adding a touch of richness and healthy fats. Alternatively, a drizzle of your favorite creamy sauce or condiment can elevate the dish to new heights of flavor.

Whether you choose to add avocado or a sauce, this meal is sure to be a culinary delight that will leave you feeling satisfied and energized.

Instructions

    1.
Preheat your oven to a high broil. Lay all the sirloin tip on a sheet tray lined with aluminum foil. Cover the steak with the first amounts of salt and pepper, garlic, garam masala, coriander seed, and first amount of olive oil.
    2.
Set the tray under your broiler for 15 minutes. Allow the steak to rest temporarily after cooking. Pour any liquid that may have collected into a bowl set aside.
    3.
Use a pair of forks or a knife and tongs to thinly slice and shred your steak. The thinner the slices the better.
    4.
Set the sliced steak into your bowl with the excess liquid and squeeze in the first amount of lime juice. Stir the ingredients together to get the steak coated in all the liquid.
    5.
In a pan over high heat, cook the cauliflower rice with the second amount of olive oil, salt, and pepper. Cook until the rice turns a light brown/golden color, reducing the heat to avoid burning.
    6.
With the heat on low, stir the cilantro and second amount of lime juice into the rice. Cook until all ingredients are heated together.
    7.
Each serving should have approx. 2 bc oz rice and 4 oz masala steak. Enjoy!
