Description

Imagine sinking your teeth into a meatball, not just any meatball, but a jumbo sphere of savory delight. These aren't your average, run-of-the-mill meatballs; they're substantial, satisfying, and brimming with a molten core of mozzarella cheese. The aroma alone is enough to transport you to a cozy Italian kitchen, where the air is thick with the scent of garlic, herbs, and simmering tomatoes.

Each meatball is a masterpiece of texture and flavor. The exterior boasts a beautifully browned crust, offering a slight resistance that gives way to a tender, juicy interior. The meat, seasoned with a blend of aromatic herbs and spices, is rich and flavorful, providing a hearty base for the cheesy surprise within.

As you cut into the meatball, a river of warm, melted mozzarella flows out, creating a luscious, creamy contrast to the savory meat. The cheese is stringy and decadent, adding a delightful richness and a satisfyingly gooey texture that elevates the entire experience. These jumbo stuffed meatballs are incredibly versatile.

They can be served atop a bed of zucchini noodles, offering a lighter alternative to traditional pasta while still delivering a comforting and satisfying meal. Alternatively, they can be arranged artfully over a fresh, vibrant salad, providing a protein-packed boost and a burst of flavor to your greens. Of course, they can also be enjoyed simply as they are, a testament to their deliciousness and a perfect appetizer or snack.

Whether you're looking for a hearty and satisfying main course or a flavorful and crowd-pleasing appetizer, these jumbo stuffed meatballs are sure to impress. Their combination of savory meat, aromatic herbs, and gooey mozzarella cheese is a winning formula that will leave you craving more. They're a comforting classic with a delightful twist, perfect for any occasion and guaranteed to be a hit with family and friends.

Instructions

    1.
Preheat an oven to 400 degrees and spray an oven-safe baking dish with pan spray. In a bowl, use your hands or a spoon to combine the chuck, sirloin, salt, pepper, onion powder, mustard powder, paprika, italian seasoning, egg, and the almond flour.
    2.
Divide the mixture into four equal parts. Shape each piece into a ball, and press down the centers to form a crevice for the cheese.
    3.
Spoon 1 TB of the shredded mozzarella into each meatball.
    4.
Form the meat back over the cheese, and reshape the meatballs. Place them in your baking dish. Drizzle a teaspoon of olive oil over the top of each meatball.
    5.
Bake the meatballs, uncovered, for 40 minutes or until the meatballs are completely cooked through and the tops have browned and crusted slightly.
    6.
    Enjoy!
