Instructions

    Start by removing the casing from links of ground Italian sausage. Reform the ground meat into patties and flatten them on a clean surface. Place about ½ oz of crumbled feta cheese in the center of each patty.

    Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Reform the meat patties around the feta cheese and flatten into the hot pan. Cook the burgers for approx. 4-5 minutes per side for a well done burger. Adjust the heat as necessary to avoid burning (the burgers will get a dark char on both sides).
