Description

Imagine a warm, creamy embrace of flavors – that's what this spinach and artichoke dip delivers. It's a symphony of textures, from the tender spinach leaves to the slightly firm, yet yielding, artichoke hearts. Each bite is a comforting blend of savory and subtly tangy notes, making it an irresistible appetizer or snack.

This dip distinguishes itself with a generous helping of both spinach and artichokes, creating a more substantial and satisfying experience. The increased quantity of these ingredients not only enhances the texture but also deepens the overall flavor profile. You'll find yourself savoring the earthy sweetness of the spinach, perfectly balanced by the delicate, almost floral notes of the artichoke.

The creamy base envelops these ingredients, binding them together in a harmonious union of taste and texture. The dip is incredibly versatile. It's wonderful served warm, when the flavors are at their peak and the creamy texture is most pronounced.

As it cools slightly, the flavors meld even further, creating an even richer and more complex taste. Consider serving it with an array of crisp, crunchy accompaniments. The contrast between the smooth, creamy dip and the crispness of the dippers creates a delightful textural experience.

Fresh vegetables, such as bell pepper strips, cucumber slices, or broccoli florets, offer a refreshing counterpoint to the richness of the dip. The possibilities are truly endless, allowing you to tailor the serving options to your personal preferences and dietary needs. Beyond its delicious taste and satisfying texture, this spinach and artichoke dip is also a relatively light option, making it a guilt-free indulgence.

It’s a wonderful way to incorporate more vegetables into your diet while still enjoying a flavorful and satisfying treat. Whether you’re hosting a gathering, looking for a quick and easy snack, or simply craving something comforting and delicious, this spinach and artichoke dip is sure to please. It's a crowd-pleaser that's both flavorful and wholesome, making it a perfect addition to any occasion.

Instructions

    1.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Microwave the frozen spinach according to the package directions. Once heated, place the spinach in a strainer over a bowl and press out as much excess water as possible using a spoon or your hands (once it's cool enough).
    2.
Drain and chop the artichoke hearts. Squeeze out any excess water using your hands.
    3.
In a microwave-safe bowl, soften the cream cheese for about 30 seconds (or until softened). Add the mayonnaise, sour cream, cheese blend, grated garlic, ⅓ cup of shredded mozzarella, and ¼ teaspoon of kosher salt. Stir until well combined. Taste and add a pinch more salt if needed.
    4.
Stir in the chopped artichokes and squeezed spinach until evenly distributed throughout the cheese mixture.
    5.
Transfer the dip to a heat-proof casserole dish. Spread it evenly and sprinkle the remaining ¾ cup of shredded mozzarella on top. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the edges are starting to brown and the dip is hot and bubbly. Serve immediately!
