Description

Imagine biting into a warm, fragrant roll, the comforting aroma of cinnamon swirling around you. These delectable cinnamon rolls offer a delightful twist on a classic favorite, perfect for a cozy breakfast, a satisfying dessert, or any time you crave a sweet treat. They are surprisingly easy to make at home, and the results are simply irresistible.

The secret to these delightful rolls lies in the carefully selected ingredients, which create a texture that's both soft and satisfying. The dough, enriched with a touch of sweetness, rises beautifully, creating a light and airy interior. A generous swirl of cinnamon sugar fills each roll, infusing them with that unmistakable warm and spicy flavor that everyone loves.

As they bake, the kitchen fills with an enticing aroma that will make your mouth water. The magic truly happens when they emerge from the oven, golden brown and puffed to perfection. The soft, tender layers of dough practically melt in your mouth, while the cinnamon-sugar filling creates a delightful caramelized sweetness.

But what truly elevates these cinnamon rolls to another level is the luscious frosting. A smooth, creamy glaze, drizzled generously over the warm rolls, adds a touch of richness and a hint of tangy sweetness that perfectly complements the cinnamon spice. Each bite is an explosion of flavor and texture – the soft, yielding dough, the warm cinnamon, and the cool, creamy frosting all working together in perfect harmony.

These cinnamon rolls are best enjoyed warm, straight from the oven, when their aroma is at its peak and their texture is at its most irresistible. Share them with friends and family, or savor them all by yourself – they are guaranteed to bring a smile to your face.

Instructions

    1.
Preheat an oven to 350 F. Combine the almond flour, husk powder, salt, and baking powder together.
    2.
Add the boiling water and mix the dough halfway. Add the apple cider vinegar and the egg whites. Mix until combined very well and homogenous.
    3.
Place dough on a piece of parchment paper. Top with another piece of parchment and press dough down with hands to flatten some. Using a rolling pin, roll the dough to a ".25" thickness into a rectangular shape. It doesn't have to be a perfect rectangle.
    4.
In the meantime, combine 1 stick of butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.
    5.
    Cream together.
    6.
Top dough with creamed brown sugar mixture.
    7.
Spread thin with a small offset spatula.
    8.
Roll up the rectangle from the short end that is the least angular so it will be on the inside of the rolls. Pinch the roll together at the seam. Cut into 9 equal rolls and place into a greased 8" x 8" pan.
    9.
Bake for 30 minutes. Allow the rolls to cool some before draining off the extra butter created in the pan.
    10.
Cream together the Swerve confectioners sugar, vanilla extract, and water. It will be a thick, creamy mixture.
    11.
Spread on top of the still warm cinnamon rolls!
