Instructions

    Bring the butter to room temperature until softened. In a bowl, combine the softened butter, finely chopped rosemary and thyme, sage, orange juice, orange zest, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mash together to form a combined mixture.

Dot the remaining butter over the outside of the chicken. Gently crush the garlic clove and place it inside the chicken cavity along with the orange quarter and rosemary sprigs.
