Ingredients

    1.

    3 servings
    2.
    Mozzarella Cheese
    Mozzarella Cheese
    4 ounce
    3.
    Butter
    Butter
    ½ tablespoon
    4.
    Garlic
    Garlic
    ¼ teaspoon

Instructions

    1.
Ensure you have approximately ".75" of a recipe's worth of Fathead dough prepared and chilled. Making a full batch initially allows for easier trimming later.
    2.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x13 inch baking sheet with parchment paper. Roll out HALF of your dough into a rectangular or oval shape, aiming for approximately 8x12 inches. Place the rolled-out dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
    3.
Cut four 8-inch long, 1 oz pieces from an 8oz block of mozzarella cheese. Arrange the cheese sticks on the dough, leaving about 1 to 1.5 inches of space between each.
    4.
Place the baking sheet in the freezer temporarily. Roll out the remaining half of the dough into a sheet similar in size to the first. Carefully lay the second sheet of dough over the cheese sticks.
    5.
Gently lift and arrange the top dough sheet to press it down between each cheese stick. Use a fork to create perforations between the cheese sticks. Trim any excess dough around the edges, leaving at least 1 inch of dough around the cheese sticks. Ensure all edges are sealed to prevent cheese from leaking during baking.
    6.
Melt the butter and stir in the garlic. Brush the garlic butter over the tops of each breadstick section, being careful not to fill the perforations with butter. Bake for 30-32 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
    7.
Once baked, slice the breadsticks into 4 individual pieces along the perforated lines. Serve hot for the best gooey cheese experience!
