Description

Imagine sinking your teeth into a juicy, flavorful burger, unburdened by a bun. This burger plate concept transforms the classic sandwich into a vibrant, customizable meal, perfect for sharing or indulging in a satisfying solo feast. Start with a generous, perfectly cooked burger patty, its surface seared to a delicious crust while the inside remains tender and succulent.

The aroma alone is enough to make your mouth water. Instead of bread, this burger rests on a bed of fresh, baby kale greens. The kale offers a slightly earthy counterpoint to the richness of the beef, while adding a boost of vitamins and a pleasant textural contrast.

Picture the deep green leaves, lightly dressed, providing a refreshing base for the main attraction. Add vibrant slices of ripe, juicy tomatoes that burst with sweetness. The tomatoes are optional, but their acidity cuts through the richness of the burger, adding a welcome tang.

Melted cheese drapes lazily over the patty, creating pockets of gooey, savory goodness. The cheese is your canvas to create your personal touch. A couple of slices of your favorite cheese complement the burger and greens.

A handful of crisp, tangy pickle chips delivers a burst of vinegar and crunch, further enhancing the complexity of flavors. The cool, refreshing pickles are a classic burger accompaniment for a reason. A dollop of creamy mayonnaise adds a final touch of richness and moisture, tying all the components together in perfect harmony.

This deconstructed burger experience is all about customization. Feel free to swap out the greens for your favorites. Consider adding sliced avocado for creaminess, crispy bacon for smoky depth, or sauteed mushrooms for an earthy note.

This meal celebrates the essence of a great burger without the carbs, inviting you to savor each ingredient individually and create your perfect bite, every time. It's a simple yet elegant way to enjoy a beloved classic, offering a lighter, fresher, and equally satisfying alternative. The burger plate is quick to assemble, making it an ideal choice for a weeknight dinner or a relaxed weekend lunch.

Gather your favorite toppings, fire up the grill (or skillet), and get ready to experience the burger in a whole new way.

Instructions

    1.
Divide ground beef into four pieces and make them into a flat patty. Sprinkle each side with seasoning. You can always use any keto friendly seasoning you like or simply salt and pepper instead.
    2.
Heat a grill on HIGH until hot. Grill each burger for about 3 minutes on the first side and 3-5 minutes on the other side until the juices run clear. In the meantime, prepare the burger plate by placing the baby kale and seasoning it with olive oil and a pinch of salt as well as the cucumber, pickles and tomatoes. The cucumber and tomatoes could use a pinch of salt as well. Then place the slices of cheese.
    3.
Once the burgers are cooked, add them to the plate along with the mayo.
