These crackers offer a delightful harmony of savory and nutty notes. The inherent richness of almonds shines through, creating a subtle sweetness that is beautifully balanced by a touch of salt. Their pleasing taste makes them a remarkably versatile addition to any snacking occasion.

Imagine the satisfying crunch as you bite into one, the delicate snap yielding to a slightly crumbly texture that melts in your mouth. These crackers are not only delicious on their own but also serve as the perfect canvas for an array of culinary creations. Pair them with a sharp, aged cheddar for a classic combination, or explore the Mediterranean flavors by serving them alongside creamy feta and briny olives.

The possibilities are truly endless. Beyond snacking, these crackers can be easily transformed into elegant hors d'oeuvres. Top them with smoked salmon and a dollop of crème fraîche for a sophisticated appetizer, or create a vibrant bruschetta with fresh tomatoes, basil, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze.

Their neutral flavor profile allows them to complement both sweet and savory toppings, making them an ideal choice for entertaining. Instructions

    1.
Preheat an oven to 325°F (convection) or 350°F (conventional). Combine almond flour, walnuts, flax seeds, salt, water, and olive oil in a food processor.
    2.
Blend the ingredients until completely smooth, ensuring the walnuts are fully incorporated into the dough.
    3.
Transfer the dough onto a piece of parchment paper, cover with another sheet of parchment, and flatten it with your hands. Use a rolling pin to roll the dough out very thin (1/16"). The shape will not be perfectly square.
    4.
Use a pizza cutter to cut the dough into 1 ½" x 1 ½" square pieces. Leave the crackers in place; do not separate them before baking. Slide the parchment paper onto a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
    5.
Remove the baking sheet from the oven. Break the crackers apart, flip them over, and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes. The crackers should be lightly golden on each side.
