•Description: Brown Channa Sprouts or Brown Chickpea Sprouts, are nutritious legumes used in various cuisines. They are small in size similar to regular chickpeas but light brown in color. They are round in shape with thin roots emerging from it as they sprout. They have a blend of slightly earthy taste with mild and nutty flavor to it although not as intense as fully matured chickpeases. They have a tender texture offering a crunch when eaten raw or cooked lightly. Brown Channa Sprouts can be used with puffed rice or quinoa puffs with sides of lemon, chile, tamarind sauce, peanuts, and coriander mixed to it. Usually, they are used in soups, curries, stir-fries, and even in sprouts salads, and smoothies.
